Close to the beach as well as the mountains, Poggetto Masino stands nearby the medieval village of Suvereto and is located close to great naturalistic and archeological sites, such as the enchanting Gulf of Baratti and the ancient Etruscan City of Populonia.

The enchanting natural environment of the Val di Cornia includes the Natural Reserves of Montioni, Rimigliano e Sterpaia, the last two being marine reserves facing the famed island Isola d'Elba. In the Archeological Park of Baratti and Populonia, you may visit the ruins of the omonimous Etruscan Town.
